The Call to ActionFollowing a tragic event, Meg Foster created an organization fueled by a team of hard-working and passionate teens in order to help create a safer society in which the youth know how to protect each other from too common, unnecessary deaths.
|
Established in 2018This organization was founded to help prevent deaths in Texas and to create change in state mandated CPR education. We aim to do this by providing convenient and engaging access to CPR Training and Certification at the 3rd-12th grade levels.
|
Our GoalOur goal is to increase awareness of the necessity of increased CPR education in primary and secondary schools in Texas. We believe that increased education in CPR would help in minimizing several unnecessary deaths throughout Texas.

Our Full Story
At an end of school year party in 2017, a 16-year-old boy with special needs had a seizure in the water and began to drown. Our founder, Meg Foster, was there and pulled him out of the pool while her brother began conducting CPR. After calling 911, they had to wait almost 15 minutes for an ambulance. Being the only ones who knew CPR at the party, Meg and her brother continuously switched off roles in performing CPR. As a result, the CPR allowed the boy to be revived on life support for two days before he was declared brain dead and unfortunately passed away. This window of time gave his family and friends enough time to say their goodbyes. After contracting PTSD from the incident, Meg partnered with a few friends in 2018 to turn a tragedy into something positive by teaching others CPR, which is how CPR in Texas was born.
